Tragedy in Kiambu: Family Mourns After Mysterious Death of 23-Year-Old

A family in Kiambu is grieving the sudden and mysterious death of their 23-year-old daughter, Seth Nyakio. Her body was discovered in a rental apartment in the Biafra area on October 20, just two days after she left home.
Nyakio’s body showed visible signs of strangulation, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding her death. Her mother, Lucy Njeri Mwaniki, a nominated MCA, reported that her daughter had been in good spirits before leaving home and had shown no signs of distress.
Lucy grew increasingly worried when she noticed that her daughter was not responding to her messages and calls, which were typically frequent. After hours of anxious waiting, her worst fears were confirmed by a call from a friend, delivering the tragic news.
Upon learning of her daughter’s death, Lucy expressed her disbelief, stating it was too difficult to accept that Nyakio was gone. The family is now seeking answers as authorities investigate the circumstances leading to this heartbreaking incident. Community members have rallied around the family, offering support during this incredibly challenging time.
