Abubakar Bini’s Message to Raila and Ruto on Demonstration
The Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya CIPK North Rift Chairman Abubakar Bini has urged President William Ruto to do a dialogue with Azimio Party leader Raila Odinga.
Bini says President Ruto should put their differences aside and have a dialogue with the Odinga for a lasting solution to the worsening economy and reduce the debts the Country is borrowing.
“We are asking the president to call Azimio leader Raila Odinga on round for a dialogue in looking for solution of the country’s economy”, says CIPK chair
Bini further said that the protest planned by Odinga on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for those who will be affected are common mwananchi.
The CIPK boss has called upon the Azimio leader to suspend the strike planned to take place on Friday as they are provoking Muslim worship day
“I am requesting Raila with due respect to stop the protest planned for Friday because all the Muslims should worship in peace, “says Bini
On his side, Mohamed Ali a member of the supreme council of Kenya Uasin Gishu branch urges the police to not use excessive force in controlling the protesters during the planned Azimio protest to avoid loss of lives.
This has come out a day just before the schedule of azimio planned protest of three days on the country’s cost of living.
