Board of Directors Enhances Skills in Capacity-Building Program
In a significant step towards strengthening governance, the Board of Directors, led by Chairman Eng. Erastus Mwongera and Registrar/CEO Eng. Margaret Ogai, has successfully completed a three-day capacity-building program. This initiative was organized by the Office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service in collaboration with the Kenya School of Government (KSG).
The program aimed to transform Regulatory Authorities and Agencies into citizen-centric institutions, prioritizing service delivery, community engagement, and operational efficiency. Participants engaged in discussions and activities designed to promote integrity and a results-oriented approach, ultimately fostering capable and resilient institutions.
Eng. Mwongera emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating that it equips board members with the necessary tools to enhance governance and public service. The training is expected to have a lasting impact on how the Board approaches its mandate, ensuring a more responsive and effective regulatory environment for the citizens of Kenya.
