Body of a Middle Aged Man Found Hanging on a Tree in Action Estate, Outskirts of Eldoret Town
The body of a middle aged man was found hanging on a tree at Action in the outskirts of Eldoret town.
Confirming the incident Uasin Gishu County commander Ayub Ali said investigations have been launched to determine what happened and the cause of his death.
The middle aged man is purported to be missing his tongue ,and it’s not clear what may have led to his death.
“Sunday morning we found the body of a middle aged man hanging on a tree at Action Estate in the outskirts of Eldoret. Unfortunately the body had missing parts which include a tongue,” said the Uasin Gishu County commander.
Ali said the man has not yet been identified.
“So far we have not identified his name and where he comes from but investigations are underway to determine what and who killed him but we suspect thta he hanged himself , ” he added.
He advises residents not to kill themselves no matter how hard life can be.
“I want to sevhce young people I know life is hard but don’t kill yourself no matter how hard life can be but instead talk to people and such incidences will be a thing of the past,” Uasin Gishu County Commander advised.
John Kiarie one of the residents said he was shocked to see a body hanging on the tree in his way to church.
“I was heading to church this morning only to be shocked by a body of a man hanging by the tree,it appears as if he may have been killed by unknown people last night”Said a resident of Action Estate,” said Kiarie.
“Just last year another body of unidentifiable man was found within the same area having been devoured by stray dogs.We are calling on the police to conduct investigations to determine what happened since we are now fearing for our lives,” he added.
The body of the deceased was taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital as Investigations are underway.
