Boost for Health services in Arror Ward as Governor Rotich Delivers Ambulance
It’s a boost for health services in Arror Ward as governor Wisley Rotich delivered an ambulance to be used across the ward today.
According to the Elgeyo Marakwet governor the ambulance will address challenges that has bedeviled the Ward for some time.
“This will go a long way in enhancing referral and cases that needs special attention. I want to appreciate Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA) for drilling a borehole at Cheptarit. This will solve perennial water challenges in the area,” said Rotich.
He noted that Cheptarit water project will serve more than 300 households and over 45,000 livestock.
“Together with the KVDA chair and Managing Director we commissioned the solar powered borehole for public use. I also engaged wananchi during public participation forums for Arror and Endo Wards at Arror Ward office and AIC Tot respectively,” he added.
He urged the members of the public to allocate more funds to growing of high value cash crops that performs well in the area such as sorghum, mangoes, citrus and BT cotton to boost the economy of the region.
“I also laid emphasis on peace building activities in the region.The public participation forums will resume on Tuesday next week for the remaining wards,” he added.
