Bungoma Basketball Men Winning Start In Kicosca Kisumu
Bungoma county government teams began their games on a winning note as Kenya Inter Counties Sports and Cultural Association (KICOSCA), entered day three in Kisumu.
Bungoma’s Basketball Men got off to a good start by humbling Uasin Gishu county in their opening matches, at Jaramogi sports ground Kisumu. Men carried last season’s winning spirit by beating Governor Jonathan Kimeli’s men 35-10.
Kevin Murumba led the way for Bungoma men, scoring 16 points. It is his Fourth KICOSCA tournament playing for Bungoma consecutively with Patrick Opiyo, Sirengo Kennedy, Derrick Nalubi, John Wekesa, Remmy Barmasai, Andrew Sore, Humphrey Wekesa and Sally.
Bungoma Basketball Team Manager, Jacob Junior said he was impressed with the performance of his team.
“This one feels good because we’ve worked so hard for it. It was beautiful to see, It was beautiful to be a part of.” Said Junior.
