BUSIA DG IN BUNYALA TO COMMISSION BULEMIA WATER PROJECT
Busia Deputy Governor, H.E Moses Mulomi is in Bunyala Sub County to commission the Bulemia Water Project.
The project will benefit about 7,000 people in Port Victoria and its environs who have been facing water scarcity during the rehabilitation and pipeline extension.
The villages that will benefit from clean drinking water include Rudacho, Bulemia market, Eramba Masaka, Mundekwe, Bubango, Budiera, Magoye, Sigiri, Idokho, Oruma, Nandekere, Buhola and Masake.
Those present include Ag Water Executive, Dr Moses Osia, Chief Officer Water and Irrigation, Dr George Tom Ekisa, Sub County Water Officer, Victor Magina, Head of Operations and Maintenance Department of Water, Thomas Lukeyo, Bunyala Sub County Administrator, Nelson Otando, Bunya West Ward Administrator, Benson Oduya, Village Administrator, Michael Wandera, Bunyala West Ward Manager, John Onyango and contractor, Cornel Bwire.
