CECM Receives Report On Assessment Of Eldoret Children Rescue Centre

County Executive Committee Member for Education, Gender, Culture and Social protection Dr. Janeth Kosgei on Tuesday received a report on the assessment of the management of the Eldoret Children Rescue Centre.

The CECM had formed the the taskforce to follow up on the allegation of mismanagement of the Rescue Centre in a bid to ascertain the truth.

While receiving the report, Dr. Kosgei lauded the taskforce for the work well done saying upon implementation of the report, it will help improve the service delivery and ensure the smooth running of the Eldoret Children Rescue Centre.

CECM further promised to implement the report immediately and promises that it will not be ignored.

The Chief Officer for Gender and Social Protection Eunice Suter said some of the issues raised by the taskforce report will be short and long term and will be implementation as soon as possible.

The committee was chaired by Deputy Director Pius Moibei.

The present were Director for Culture Mohamed Dakane, and Meshack Chemwor (Social Services) and the taskforce members.
