Concord Girls High School Rebrands to Edward Limo Education Center

Concord Girls High School has now rebranded to Edward Limo Education Center.

Speaking to the press the school’s principal Serah Kanyugo this is in honor of Edward and Taphrotha Limo, who served the lord diligently during their life time and had a passion for education of the youth

“The School is also repositioning itself to offer futuristic courses to the Girls of Kenya and the world in

the areas of, the school will now be the center of Artificial Intelligence, Sports Science, Women’s Health, and Agriculture amongst other areas. In cooperation with our partners, Bi0 9 Venture, Turn-pro Academy, Alliance Francaise, Start-Up Africa and Kenya Centre of Academicians and Diverse Oriented Research (KCADOR) we aim to achieve the greater vision of the Late Legend and Mentor to many, Agui Edward Limo,” said Kanyago.

The event was graced by Ambassador Emmy Kosgei, an International Gospel Artist, and Guest Preacher, Reverend Bishop Richard Aengwo of Living Waters

Kosgei thanked the school for the steps that thye have made wishing them well in their endevours.

“I am much humbled to be considered as the chief guest, I want to first thank mzee Limo for this nobles idea and for the school management for ensuring that his idea was actualize, I am happy with what I have heard and seen in the school and I wish you all the best in their endevours,” she said.

She urged students to work hard and ensure thye good grades inodrer to be persons of influence in the country.

Concord Girls’ High School was incorporated as a limited liability company in March 2015 with

Mr. Edward Limo, Mrs. Emma and Mr. Ben Limo and Dr (Mrs.) Ruth and Amb. Dr Kipyego Cheluget as equal shareholders.

The school was registered with the Ministry of Education and begun in January 2015 at Kao la Amani Bible College with 9 students and Principal Mrs. Violet Cheloti and 7 teachers. It later moved to the residence of Dr (Mrs.) Ruth and Amb Dr. Cheluget for about one year, before reallocating to the current magnificent campus.

The school has grown in leaps and bounds since its inception and in 2018 we sat for the first KCSE examination and attained a mean score of 4.4, in 2019 and 2021 we attained a mean of5.2 and 5.4 respectively. We are proud of this upward trajectory.

The school motto “Aspire beyond the stars” has been the driving force in the realization of Agui Edward Limo’s dream. Today the school is experiencing renaissance and ready to take off.
