County Engages Ngenyilel Ward Facility Managers on the Ongoing Works
County Department of Health Services on Monday convened a meeting with facility in-charges and committees from Ngenyilel Ward to discuss ways of expediting the ongoing works listed in the Bill of Quantities.
Speaking in his Office, County Executive for Health Services, Dr Sam Kotut, emphasized the importance of following the proper procurement process during the tendering process to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the ward projects.
The discussions centered on productive engagements, focusing on expediting the ongoing works as outlined in the BQs. The plan is to avoid lagging during construction.
“Let us follow the established procedures during the tendering process because as a Department, we aim to ensure transparency, fairness, and effectiveness in the execution of the ward projects,”says Dr Kotut.
Chief Officer for Promotive and Preventive Health, Dr Joyce Sang, noted that quality and timely service delivery to the residents of Ngenyilel Ward is crucial therefore the need t work within the stipulated timelines.
On his part,Chief Officer for Clinical Services, Dr Paul Wangwe, emphasised on party engagements during the procurement process and addressing any potential challenges that may hinder progress, therefore enhancing transparency and fairness in the process.
Among the representatives of facilities present were from Ngenyilel, Chepsaita, Murgusi, Osorongai and Chepkemel.
