County, Sugar Miller Ink a Deal On Rural Roads Maintenance
Bungoma county and West Kenya sugar company have agreed on a partnership that will see roads in the sugar growing areas periodically maintained.
In the agreement, the county will provide technical staff, related road machine operators and fuel while the sugar miller will avail road maintenance machines.
The partnership will also see the county department of roads and Naitiri sugar company develop a work plan that will be implemented periodically.
This was announced during a follow up meeting between CECM Roads and Public works Bonaventure Chengeck and the management of Naitiri Sugar company.
