CS and PS Lands Accompany president Ruto on a Working Tour in Uasin Gishu
Cabinet Secretary for Lands Hon. Alice Wahome and Principal Secretary PS Charles Hinga accompanied The President H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto for a working tour in Uasingishu County.
They commissioned Pioneer Affordable Housing project – a 1258 housing unit project to be constructed in Kapseret Constituency. The project will include Public Spaces such as a Social Hall, a Kindergarten, a Commercial Zone, a Tree Nursery, all tied together by greenery and walkways designed for pedestrian experience. The project targets to engage approximately 1500 youths engaged directly in construction and targeting over 10,000 indirect jobs.
Kapsuswa Affordable Housing project – a 220 housing unit project being constructed in Soy Constituency. The project employs around 350 casuals per day with more women than men working.
Eldoret 64 Ultra-Modern Market Main Market – 6 stories building (5 levels and 1 basement), Basement Parking – 104 slots, Cold rooms on all floors with fresh produce, Truck bays – 7 vehicles, Bulk storage on floors with cereals, mali mali, and mitumba, Wash areas on all floors, Lactation Room, Creche/ Day Care, Dispensary (first aid room), Holding Cell, Kitchens with food courts.
