There are ladies who swear that the first man they sleep with, that’s it. He must be the man for her. Or the man they get pregnant for must also become their husband.
Or the man they get the first child with must also become the father of all her children. And this vow is usually not accompanied with another vow to date celibate. She will give herself to a man as long as she feels convinced he’s ‘serious with her.’ As a result the man breaking a virginity might be a married man who played on her mind well. And just like that her inverted vows bind her to a man who is dishonest and selfish from the onset. Shw vowed about what wasn’t so important, sticking to the same man, and failed to vow about what was critical- preserving sex and sobriety till marriage.
And that’s how foolish virgins are made. She stands for long but because she’s standing on a faulty foundation when she falls it’s a crumble. From being a virgin to side chick or second wife or a very embittered baby mama.
Solution? Put fences around your treasures, not your fears and irrational social biases. What you need is a true partner and a happy life. Don’t stick with the wrong man just because ‘he’s the one who took away your innocence.’ When you realise you’ve made a mistake correct it at once. You’re only human.
