Today, the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua hosted Baringo County leaders, led by Senator William Cheptumo, at the Official Residence in Karen, Nairobi.

The Hon. Deputy President noted,
“It was an insightful meeting on the security situation in Baringo and the North Rift Region, where our Security Agencies are under firm instructions to end the banditry attacks. We have a responsibility to protect lives and livelihoods. It does not matter how long it takes. The Ruto Administration is determined to end the senseless killings and destruction of property in the North Rift once and for all. This is because we well understand that peace is key to development.”

Other leaders include Reuben Kiborek (Mogotio MP), Joseph Makilap-(Baringo North MP), Jackson Kosgei (Nominated), and Joshua Kandie (Baringo Central MP).
