DP Ruto’s Visit to Mosop Postponed, This is Why
Deputy President William Ruto has postponed his development tour to Kabiyet township, Mosop Constituency.
Through his official Facebook page, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang said this is due to Kenya Defence Forces(KDF) recruitment exercise scheduled to take place at the same venue.
“Due to the Kenya Defence Forces(KDF) recruitment exercise scheduled to take place at Kabiyet township on the 24th of November, the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto’s planned visit to Kabiyet Sub-County Hospital is hereby postponed to a later date.Attached is the revised itinerary,” said the Nandi Governor.
Other events will continue as scheduled.
In Nandi County, Ruto is expected to visit Kapsabet ACK Plaza Harambe at show grounds, the official opening of Emgwen Technical and vocational college, commissioning the upgrade of Kapsabet road network, and groundbreaking of Kapsabey Fresh produce market.
Thereafter deputy president William RUTO will be hosted by Kesses member of parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra where he is expected to preside over interdenominational funds drive for 36 churches.
The event will take place at AIC Chebolol, Cheptiret Kipchamo ward, Kesses Constituency on 24th November from 9:00 am.
Speaking after visiting the venue, Keses’s legislator said all is set for the event.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, Uasin Gishu Senator Prof Margaret Kamar, Turbo MP Janet Sitienei, Ainabkoi MP William Chepkut, Soy MP Caleb Kositany, Moiben MP Silas Tiren, Uasin Gishu women representative Gladys boss Sholei are also expected to grace the occasion.
