Drama as a Chepkoilel Matatu Sacco Tout Found Making Love in Matatu
There was drama at Eldoret-Chepkoilel campus matatu stage in Eldort town today when a 23 year old matatu tout was busted in a compromising position with a 26 year old woman inside one of the empty
matatus that was on the queue.
The randy tout identified as Collins alias Dogo, was saved from mob justice by his colleagues after he pleaded for forgiveness saying that he had no money to book lodging due to hard economic times.
The lady took advantage of the milling crowd at the scene by sneaking
out of the matatu as enraged members of the public manhandled and
besieged the matatu tout while asking him to confess to his sins.
“We we tubu dhambi zako au tukuchome na taya ya gari , ( Confess your
sins or we lynch you with car tyer ) one of members of the public
shouted at him.
The shaken tout narrated that the woman whom he identified as Mercy
Chepchirchir has no problem with the arrangement to have good time
with her at the back seat of the empty public service vehicle at a
fee.
“We agreed with the woman to have intimate inside the matatu after buying her a bottle of illicit brew at one of the joints on the stage since the queue was moving at a slow pace due to lack of passengers,”
said Collins.
Dennis Kwemoi, an eye witness said Collins who is his workmate has excused himself saying he was going to drink a cup of tea at one of the hotels spread at the main stage only to be alerted about the
embarrassing situation.
“Our matatu Sacco has been forced to pay sh 300 for the nearby car wash company to thoroughly clean the matatu which our colleague had turned into lodging with his companion,” said Kwemoi.
He said they have advised their colleague to go Moi Teaching and
Referral Hospital in Eldoret for treatment.
When reached for comment, the Trans Valley Sacco manager who only identified himself as Mr Kimeli said they have launched
investigations into the matter with a view to take disciplinary action
against the tout if found culpable of the offence he has been accused
of committing.
“I am yet to be briefed by the stage manager over what transpired at
the stage before we can take any action on the individual who has been
implicated in the embarrassing incident,” said Mr Kimeli.
