Eldoret: Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi Wants Voxy Vans Banned carrying passengers
Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Kipchumba Sudi now wants CS roads Kipchumba Murkomen to ban Voxy Vans from carrying passengers.
Sudi said the vehicles are prone to causing accidents.
“We must bring back sanity in our transport sector, especially public transport. I urge CS Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen to move swiftly in banning illegal operators plying the Nairobi-Eldoret route using Voxy Vans without proper licensing,” said the Kapseret Member of Parliament.
Sudi said lives have been lost through road accidents caused by these overspeeding vans.
“ We must put these reckless acts to an end and ensure our roads are safe for travel.It is sad that the life of an industrious young man Nelson Tanui(Mandela) was cut short following a grisly road accident along Eldoret-Nakuru highway a week ago,” said the Kapseret member of parliament and president William Ruto’s ally.
He spoke after joining leaders, friends, and family during Nelson’s funeral ceremony, in Naiberi, Ainabkoi Constituency, Uasin Gishu County.
