“In my journey of building Partnerships with large farming conglomerates operating within Gatanga constituency, I visited the management of Kakuzi PLC led by Wilson and Simon.

Kakuzi PLC’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to engage the community and be part of their success is commendable.

“We agreed to partner in school refurbishment and they have already refurbished 2 schools, Kinyangi Primary School and Kakuzi Primary School in the last 8 months. They promised to refurbish 8 more schools in the next 4 years, ”

He said they agreed to partner in providing the community with Clean reliable water supply, improve the roads infrastructure, supply all the primary and secondary schools with desks in Kakuzi Mitumbiri and Ithanga wards in Gatanga Constituency.

“The power saving Jikos are in all homes in the area and we agreed that we shall jointly build more dispensaries and partner in the forth coming medical camps.Their employment policy to give locals opportunities in their Avocado, Macadamia farms and even beef sectors is highly appreciated, Not to mention their bursary programs to support some of our best students in the area, ‘
