The meeting also saw H.E. Ahmed Abdullahi, the Governor of Wajir County, elected as the new Chairperson of the Council of Governors, succeeding H.E. Anne Waiguru, the Governor of Kirinyaga. Abdullahi’s leadership is anticipated to bring fresh perspectives to the council’s initiatives.
