Governor Bii Attends KISIP 2 Public Participation
Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii on Wednesday engaged with the residents of Kimumu ward in the Ngomongo settlement area.
This was during a public participation exercise to gather their input for the upcoming rollout of the Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Program (KISIP 2).
“By empowering the community to personally identify crucial projects for implementation, they identified several projects, including road construction, sewerage connectivity, street lighting to improve security and support a 24-hour economy, the establishment of a social center for children’s daycare, and improved water provision,” Governor Bii said.
“Through our partnership with KISIP, we are committed to bringing positive transformations to our informal settlements. I have assured the community that all manual jobs will be performed by Ngomongo residents,” he added.
