Governor Jonathan Bii Attends the Burial of Elgeyo Marakwet Governor’s Brother
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii on Saturday attended the burial ceremony of
Elgeyo Marakwet’s governor Wesly Rotich brother’s Henry Kiplimo Rotich.
Speaking during the burial ceremony Bii termed the deceased as God fearing and down-to-earth person.
“on behalf of my family and people of Uasin Gishu I want to send my message of condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. May God give you strength during this hard time of mourning your loved one,” said Uasin Gishu governor.
Bii who was elected on a UDA party ticket is serving his first term as Uasin Gishu governor.
He took over from Governor Jackson Mandago who is now Uasin Gishu senator.
“I want to Convey my hearty sympathies and that of the people of Uasin Gishu County to the family of My colleague Governor H.E Hon. Wesley Rotich of Elgeyo Marakwet County for the loss of his brother the late Henry Kiplimo Rotich.May His soul Rest in eternity, and May God comfort the family during this time of grief,” he added.
CS Kipchumba Murkomen says “Henry Kiplimo Rotich was a young and dependable economist with a very bright future. Losing him at his age is a big blow to the community and the country. Today we laid him to rest at his ancestral home Chegilet, Elgeyo Marakwet County. My condolences to his family led by our Governor Wisley Rotich. May our brother rest in eternal peace,”
