Governor Lusaka Pays Fees For Two Needy Students to Join University
Bungoma County Governor Ken Lusaka has come to the aid of two needy students to further their University education.
The two students are Ann Mercy who studied at Kenya High School and scored a mean grade of A (plain) and Brian Wafula of Kisii High School who garnered an A- (minus).
Mercy wants to pursue medicine and Surgery at Egerton University and Brian Wafula wants to join Moi University and take Medical Laboratory science.
In an address to the press on Monday at the county headquarters, governor Lusaka affirmed that his administration is aimed at supporting needy students to access education.
“I’m committed to ensuring that all the needy cases are catered for, my administration will not leave behind anybody who wants to access education,” Lusaka added.
