Governor Mwangaza Impeached For the Second Time
Embattled Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza has been impeached by the Meru County Assembly for the second time.
This is after the motion for her removal from office was tabled.
All 59 MCAs who were present in the House voted in support of the motion to remove Mwangaza from office.
Only ten MCAs were absent.
Kawira Mwangaza was elected on an independent party ticket.
She is accused of misuse of public funds, gross misconduct, contempt of the county assembly and court among other charges.
