Governor Natembeya Meets Controller of Budget
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya EBS met with Controller of Budget Dr Margaret Nyakang’o to discuss efficient budget implementation.
The meeting addressed concerns about delays in requisition and release of funds. Dr Nyakang’o informed the Governor of a new Automated system that was being implemented to boost efficiency, eliminating pending bills for statutory payments.
The initiative will assist counties in disbursing cash for effective service delivery.
Governor Natembeya commended the initiative and pledged to continue working together for the benefit of Trans Nzoia’s people.
