Governor Nathif Welcomes PS Water
Garissa County governor Nathif Jama Adam was on Monday privileged and honoured when he ushered in the visiting Principal Secretary in the State Department of Water and irrigation Dr. Paul Ronoh.
The visit by the Principal Secretary is geared towards underscoring the Importance of Collaboration with County Governments to improve the processes of water companies and reducing non revenue water which is key for sustainability in the sector.
It also seeks to emphasize the importance of working in synergy to see to it that the Governance and Management of Water Service Providers is critical to ensuring the reliability of water supply systems.
His excellency the Governor welcomed the progressive initiatives and hailed the move for the national government to work in tandem with County governments for the benefits and happiness of common mwananchi.
