Hon. Mariam, who also doubles up as the Senate’s Vice Chair for health is so very much committed to putting a smile to girls by offering them sanitary pads.
Hon Mariam notes,”Smiling face of every little girl is the signature of God’s presence. There are miracles and glory in every child. Our glory lies in making them smile as well as empowering them to flourish their glory.”
She adds,”To make Mandera prosper, we must be bold & do what no generation has had to do before. We must invest more in our own people, in their jobs, and in their future, & We must provide for our county the way a parent provides for children.”
