“When we provide individuals with the tools and resources to promote self-sufficiency, we are ultimately creating a stronger society of empowered individuals.
Today, a team from my office and Uwezo Fund had the opportunity to meet with the Ruku Women Group from Mutithi ward, who successfully applied for and received funding from the Uwezo Fund. The group was provided with training on how to effectively utilize the funds and to identify projects that could generate a sustainable source of income for them.
I extend an invitation to all registered groups in Mwea to apply for the Uwezo Fund, to receive opportunities for financial support and empowerment.”
