I am not a Freemason – Rarieda MP Otiende Omolo
Rarienda Member of Parliament Otiende Amolo has distanced himself from Law Firm Partner Ambrose Rachier who publicly admitted to being a member of Freemason.
Through his, Twitter handles Omolo said he is neither a member of the sect nor his firm is associated with Freemasonry.
“Interesting Times! Have Seen An Interview By My Law Firm Partner Ambrose Rachier On Freemasonry! I Am Not & Will Never Join Freemasonry! Let It Be Known That The Law Firm Of Rachier & Amollo LLP Is NOT Associated With The Movement!,” the Rarieda member of the parliament said.
This comes after the High Court advocate Ambrose Rachier, confessed to being a member of the secret society, during an interview with NTV.
In the interview, Racheir debunked myths associated with the society, clarifying that the movement was not a cult as widely perceived.
His tweet received mixed reactions here are some of their comments.
Bianca says “Well, If the owner of the firm is a member, then by extension the firm is associated with the movement. Yani, people are using cultism to win cases,”
Gordon Okumu says “What’s wrong with being a member of the Freemason and why are you pulling away from Rachier now? I met Rachier in 2014 and he told me that he was a freemason then…you were already in business with him at that time. I’m sure you knew this kitaaambo sana!,”
Stephen Mutoro wrote “Practically, it’s impossible to separate Ambrose Rachier and his law firm from freemasonry. Perhaps you need to sue him for non-disclosure and immediately seek to part ways. Others the law firm must be enjoying both direct and indirect link to freemasons,”
