Joy As Hill School Primary School Produces Top Student In Uasin Gishu
Hill School Primary School in Eldoret is the best public school in Uasin Gishu County after producing top students.
Speaking to the press the school principal Ngaira the results were gotten through hard work and determination.
“First of all, I want to thank God, parents, and students for performing well and making our school proud. The results were gotten through hard work and teamwork between teachers, parents and the school, management,” Ngaira said while speaking to the press.
Last year the school had a mean score of 361 and over 25 pupils had 25 marks and above.
“This year we managed to get a mean score of 371.73 and over 52 pupils got 400 marks and above. We thank the Lord for such an amazing performance not forgetting our teachers, BOM, and parents for their support, without them we could have done nothing,” he added.
He thanked the BOM for giving them 100 percent support and ensuring that the school runs smoothly.
“I want to thank our BOM chairman Sammy Bor for giving us 100 percent support by providing us with everything that we need. TSC is supportive we have enough teachers and that the Ministry of Education is equally doing the same where they guide us and make sure we are working within the policy,” he added.
“I want to thank my candidates for performing extremely well this is the best results the school has ever gotten since it was started I cannot afford to forget my hardworking teachers who worked hard despite the upsurge of coronavirus to ensure that students got quality and not quantity education. This is a landmark result that we are happy and thank God for. It has been an upward improvement all along,” added Sammy Bor, the school’s board of management chairman.
The top candidate Mwanzo Benedict Wanyoyi had 417 marks said it was through hard work ad determination that made him perform well.
“I thank God for the great performance. I thank teachers too. I did not expect to score this high, although I had a target of at least 400 marks,” said Wanyonyi. “My desire is to join Mang’u High School and later be an engineer,” he said.
Mwanzo Benedict got 417 marks, Ngor Dictor 414, Kiprotich Alvan 413, Chumba Debra Jemutai 412 while Lomil Wangare Julie got 412.
