Kamau (Ahadi Kenya Director) Dignifies the Senior Citizens in Murang’a

Ahadi Kenya Executive Director Stanley Kamau has continued with his exemplary work of positive social transformation.
He gave 35 beds, clothing and foodstuff to senior citizens in Mathioya.

In an auspicious occasion at Karung’e Primary school, tens of the senior citizens were very happy to go home knowing that they will sleep comfortably.

In a non-political move, Mr. Kamau cautioned the politicians to shun seeking the votes in funerals.
They should not be tolerated. Mr. Kamau told the politicians to organize their own meetings. “Politicians wait for people to die to go and seek votes in burials. This is wrong, he noted.”
We have several people here who have never had a dignified sleep. Others sleep on the ground.

When I was championing the jigger eradication menace, the mostly affected were sleeping on the ground. Many diseases are a result of poor hygienic practices.

As leaders, we have to think critically especially in the society.
Preventive measures are the best as opposed to curative ones.
A fortnight ago Mr. Kamau gave the people blankets and now today he brought them food.

“Not a single person will ever sleep hungry, or go naked in the society. I will make sure every life is dignified. No one will wear a patched cloth again.
Always say a prayer for us leaders.
