Outgoing State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena has handed over the docket to Hussein Mohammed.
Dena took to Instagram on Friday to thank God for favour and President William Ruto for a smooth transition.

“Kazi kwako…. natambua uwezo wako (the work begins… I know your abilities),” she said.
Earlier, Dena had come out to publicly celebrate her five-year stint at the president’s office.
Dena was appointed spokesperson in the Executive Office of the President by former Head of State, Uhuru Kenyatta, in 2017.
The former Citizen TV journalist would also head the President’s Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU), becoming the first woman in Kenya’s history to hold the positions.
In a social media post titled ‘The Completion of a Season’ on Sunday, Dena shared a slideshow video of photos highlighting her cherished moments in the past five years, including her marriage and motherhood.
The former news anchor thanked former President Uhuru Kenyatta for giving her the opportunity to serve under his office, saying she had learned valuable lessons during her tenure.
“Let me take this opportunity to thank… the PSCU team, the season would not have been successful without your support. I will always treasure you;Colleagues at State House, ministries, parastatals, stakeholders etc, nyooooteee asanteni,” she said.
Dena went ahead to thank her family and friends for supporting her and praying for her unconditionally.
“My family and friends, asante for cheering me on and understanding when I had to disappoint… coz duty called… I thank you also for holding me in prayer… oh and the fun and laughter and for being protective,” wrote Dena.
“How would I have done this without you ladies!!! …sasa road trips zianzee…nawapenda,” she added.
The former PSCU boss also thanked her parents and husband for stepping up at their family when her work became demanding.
“A special thank you to my husband Mr. Mararo… wa! Thank you! For the tremendous support…the constant pressure to want more..for being Mum and Dad most of the time Sina words La Azizi,” she wrote.
Added Dena: “Mwisho Nimshukuru Muumba wangu… Many times I Iook back and I don’t know how I did it. But one thing I know Jehova you took it over…and for sure that is how I made it through… ndio maana ninatambua kwamba wewe ni Ebenezer..Mimi na wewe Baba Mungu sako kwa bako.”
