Kawaya Hails Dams As Progressive Instruments
The Hon. Eng. Vincent Musyoka Musau Kawaya, the duly elected member of parliament for Mwala Constituency has hailed the Government for a brilliant initiative of the construction of dams.
This is what the Hon. Engineer has to say:
“The establishment of dams by the government is a commendable effort in ensuring the public’s access to clean and reliable sources of water. Dams promote environmental conservation by reducing soil erosion, preserving natural habitats, and improving water quality.
The construction of such infrastructure shows the Kenya Kwanza governm
ent commitment to addressing the needs of the people and supporting sustainable development. It is important to acknowledge and appreciate such initiatives that bring positive changes to society.
It was great pleasure to be the chief guest during the ground breaking of Kyumbi dam, at Kinanie ward, Mavoko Constituency. I was joined by PS Devolution Theresia Mbaika, Eng. Gilbert Maluki, Chairperson National Authority, Fred Muteti, Chairperson Special Economic Zones among other heads of parastatals and State Departments.
