KCPE and KPSEA examinations in Uasin Gishu Going on Well No Special Case Reported
KCPE and KPSEA examinations in Uasin Gishu County are going on well.
Speaking after visiting schools in Burnt forest to see the progress of the ongoing exams Director of Education Muriuki Harisson said no special case has been witnessed.
“All 58,514 pupils who were registered to sit for KCPE and KPSEA exams showed up for the exams, so far so good, we have not witnessed any special cases since the exams kicked off yesterday,” said the Uasin Gishu Director of Education.
“We hope that exercise will continue well until the last day.No exam irregularities have been witnessed. I am giving a stern warning to anyone thinking to engage in exam irregularities that they will face the full force of the law.
29,472 candidates in Uasin Gishu are sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations this year where 15,101 are boys while 14,371 are girls.

The Uasin Gishu Director of Education said there have enhanced security in all the exam centers across the County.
“We have beefed up security in all the exam centers where we have two officers on the same. Our aim is to ensure that our children get maximum security as they are sitting for their exams,” said Muriuki.
He also wished all the best students sitting for their exams.
“I also want to wish success to all students neither sitting for their exams nor forgetting that hard work and determination lead to success,” he said.
