Keiyo South MP Urges the Government to Beef Up Security in Kerio Valley
Keiyo South Member of Parliament Gideon Kimaiyo has called on the government ro beef up Security in tht volatile Kerio Valley.
This comes after a teacher was receny killed by bandits.
Speaking to the press during a funds drive at Metkei Girls, the Keiyo South legislator said he will not sit down while the life’s of Kenyans are being lost.
“I am calling upon the UK interior CS Kithure Kindiki to intervene since things are getting worse. As leaders from the region we are not happy with what is going on stern actions must be taken against bandits who continue claiming more lives,” said Kimaiyo.
He said more security officers should be deployed in the region to enhance security with has deteriated.
” CS Kindiki we are tired seeing our brothers being killed now and then . Come to the ground and as leaders we will give you all rht support you need,” he added.
