Kigame Flags Off Food Relief to Northen Kenya
The Kigame music academy in Eldoret ,Okoa Maisha Ambassador of Hope Presidential aspirant Reuben Kigame flagged off a truck carrying food relief to help starving families in Marsabit and surrounding area’s.
He said this was done in partnership with the Pastoralist Parliamentary Group.
The food that was flagged off included donations from churches and individuals around Eldoret and the wider North.
“I want to thank Sirikwa Pentecostal Fellowship and Calvary chapel Eldoret for there generosity to the affected.Supporting the needy is not a political exercise but a social and spiritual responsibility towards the needy,” Kigame said.
He urged those who cannot give in kind to donate whatever amount this Christmas to pay bill 188668, Acc :Okoa Maisha.
The Northern Kenya and the Horn of Africa has been badly hit by drought due to failed rains for the last four years leading to loss of life and livestock and displacement of many families.
“True leadership put’s people before anything else and that people come before projects,” he said.
