Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker Muteti Murimi, alongside family and esteemed colleagues, celebrated a significant milestone today by officially handing over a newly constructed Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) Ablution Block at Kombuini Primary School. This initiative, sponsored by Murimi in partnership with Kangai Ward MCA Hon. James Wambu, honors the Speaker’s mother, who recently turned 70.

The newly constructed ablution block aims to provide a clean and safe environment for students, promoting their health and academic success. Murimi emphasized that ensuring access to proper sanitation facilities is crucial for fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Accompanied by Hon. Geoffrey Murimi Gakuru (Kiine Ward MCA), Hon. Charles Nyamu (Murinduko Ward MCA), and Hon. Milka Mumbi (Nominated MCA), Murimi highlighted the importance of community support in driving initiatives that uplift society. “Together, we are building a brighter future for our children,” he said.
