Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker Visits Veteran Politician
Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker Muteti Murimi accompanied by colleagues Hon Thomas Mwangi Muriuki, Hon. Jinaro Njamumo, Hon. James Wambu and Hon Eric Muchina visited veteran politician Hon. Kinyua Mbui at his home in Kagumo.
Hon. Mbui who served as Ndia Member of Parliament 1992-1997, is recuperating at home having been discharged from hospital in December.
“We found him in high spirits and were encuraged by his wise counsel. He as well expressed his optimism in devolution and the youthful Kirinyaga leadership and encouraged us to keep fighting for the economic liberation of our people, ” he said.
” We were accompanied by the Kerugoya Catholic Parish priest Father John Wachira who blessed the family and empasized the need for collective compassion during challenging times, ” he added.
” We wished him speedy and full recovery, ”
