All roads are leading to St Patrick Kwang’amor Primary School for the World Water Day whose theme is ” Groundwater-
Making the invisible visible.” Agriculture
Executive, Dr Moses Osia is representing the Governor in the celebrations also attended by County Commissioner, Dr Ahmed Omar.
Groundwater is invisible, but its impact is visible everywhere, thus the theme of this year’s celebrations which is geared towards upscaling ground water in the county.
Out of sight, under our feet, groundwater is a hidden treasure that enriches our lives.
Almost all of the liquid freshwater in the world is groundwater.
As climate change gets worse, groundwater will become more and more critical, thus the need to
work together to sustainably manage this precious resource.
Groundwater may be out of sight, but it must not be out of mind.
