Linturi Not Out of the Woods Yet
Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi short-lived celebration of freedom in the fertilizer scam gave him only a temporary sigh of relief. Now the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has filed a petition in court against him.
The lawyers’ body led by the very able president faith Odhiambo wants the court to declare that the Parliamentary Select Committee on the impeachment of CS Linturi erred in its findings.
They also want the court to order the government to compensate all the farmers who were affected by the supply and distribution of the fake fertiliser.
