Matulo Girls Aims At Doubling University Entries in this Year’s KCSE Exams
Webuye west member of parliament Daniel Wanyama has said he will not interfere with any school management rather set up conducive education environment to better exams results.
Speaking in Matulo Friends Girls High school during prayers for Form
four candidates, MP Wanyama insisted that as the lawmaker he will make
sure schools have enough and good infrastructure through constituency
development funds.
Wanyama took the opportunity to challenge the candidates to face the
forthcoming national exams with courage.”I beseech you candidates to
work smart and emerge the top school in the region”he posed.
The school principal Florence Ludenyo said the school is optimistic
that the school will provide sterling results in this year KCSE Exams.
Mrs.Ludenyo said that she looks forward to have the school double the
number of students with direct entry to public universities.
“We project better outcome of KCSE results this year as we have
confidence in our candidates.”she observed.
Mrs.Ludenyo further urged parents to continue supporting the school fraternity in shaping the girls and encouraged them to keep motivating their children.
She appreciated the teachers and the entire Matulo Girls fraternity for working as a team to shape the learners’ lives.
Her sentiments were echoed by the school board of management chair Isaac Mukenya who said the school vision is to turn Matulo Girls High school into a center of academic excellence.
Other present during the prayers were Webuye county referral hospital medical superintended Dr.Simon Kisaka who lauded the management of Matulo Girls for working behind the scenes to change the face of the school.
Dr. Kisaka promised to help pay fees for two needy students
