Members of A.I.C Kimoson Want Area MCA to Obey Court Order
Members of A.I.C Kimoson Kipkenyo Ward now want the Member of County Assembly Kipkenyo Ward David Letting Alias Kokwas to obey Court order.
The Court orders bar him from carrying out any development activity in a disputed land of which the church claims ownership.
According to Dr. Joseph Kitur A.I.C Kimoson’s pastor, they were all served with a court order, which even the MCA, was also served.
“We were served with the court order that was also served to Kokwa, chief’s office, the assistant County Commissioner that advised him against entering the land until the verdict is made.
The church leader said that the security agencies in Kapseret have been compromised.
“The speech by Madam Sarah the OCPD during the public baraza, the assistant chief, and the local MCA, means that there is nowhere for us to go and if anything happens to our congregation they will be held responsible,” he added.
They accused the OCPD of trying to determine the case, which is in Court besides being issued with a court order.
“It is so embarrassing that the same person who was advising Kokwa not to engage in any development, was here while she was served the order, and she is trying to determine the matter that is in court and that is a pure incitement,” said Kitur.
Dr.Kitur urged the security agency in Kapseret constituency to obey the Court order.
They called upon the Ministry of Interior to look into the issue in Kapseret and for people to be prosecuted and urged that an urgent form of inquiry be formed to ascertain the causes of unrest in the constituency.
Some of the locals who spoke said known goons attacked them when they complained about land grabbing issues and even fear for their life.
