Meru Governor Opens Katheri Modern Market
Meru Governor Kawira Mwagaza officially opened Katheri Modern Market following extensive renovations.
She says its goal is making the facility a hub for thriving trading activities.
“I’m proud that we’ve achieved just that. Before the county government’s intervention, the market had been stalled for a whole decade, leaving the community in need of a vibrant trading space. Today, I am overjoyed to see the market bustling with life as traders have already occupied their stalls and begun their business activities. Meru must be happy,” she said.
