The President of Matatu Owners Association (MOA) Albert Karakacha has announced plans to start a driving school in a bid to create employment. In a news interview on Tuesday, he noted:

“As a way of dealing with the issue of unemployment, we shall start our driving school as a way of ensuring compliance. As of now, those who hold driving licenses from other driving schools are accustomed to waiting for four years before they can be issued with a PSV driving license. This will create employment of about 30,000 jobs every year.
We are also calling upon members of the public to be watchful and raise an alarm in case of dangerous driving in a bid to curb the rising cases of road accidents in our country,” he noted.
