Moiben MP Prof. Phylis Bartoo Launches “Mama Na Lishe Bora” Programme for Primary Schools
In a significant step towards improving education and nutrition for primary school children, Moiben MP Prof. Phylis Bartoo officially launched the “Mama Na Lishe Bora” programme at Ainabtich grounds in Kimumu.
This initiative is set to bring lasting educational and nutritional benefits to primary school students across the region.
The programme’s inaugural batch includes ten primary schools: Chemweno Chebor, Bidii, Endao, Kaptuktuk, Ngomongo, Kimumu, Chebarus, Central, Gk Magereza, and Moi Marula Primary Schools.
The launch event was marked by a strong turnout, with notable attendees such as Hon. Rebecca, Nominated MCA, Mr. Saro, ACC Moiben, and Madam Nora, Moiben Sub County Director of Education. Also present were Hon. Komen, Chairman NG-CDF, Moiben Sub County Primary Schools Heads, parents, and students.
Prof. Bartoo expressed her commitment to ensuring that the programme provides sustained benefits, emphasizing the importance of integrating quality nutrition into the educational experience.
