Moses Kuria, Lee Kinyanjui Condemn Senator Mithika Linturi Utterances in Eldoret
Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria has condemned utterances by Meru Senator Mithika Linturi while in Eldoret.
Linturi called on reside at nkt to vote in madoadoa.
Through his Facebook page Kuria termed the utterances as I intended and uncalled for.
“I am a close friend of the Deputy President. However I am far. If you are in Eldoret and near hear tell him to rebuke this talk. It doesn’t matter whether it is said by a Linturi or an Oscar Sudi. It matters that it is being said in Eldoret Sports Club, few kilometres from KAG Church Kiambaa in ‘Burnt’ Forest’. Jameni Madoadoa tena 💔 RIP #Kiambaa36,” said Kuria.
Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui also condemned the Utterance attributed to Senator Mithika Linturi in Eldoret saying it’s a serious assault to the peace and harmony to communities in Rift Valley.
“To profile persons on the basis of political or ethnic orientation is regrettable. We condemn the irresponsible and reckless talk, and call for immediate arrest and prosecution of the Senator. We may have our political differences but peaceful coexistence is a common asset for all irrespective of political orientation,” says Kinyanjui.
He reiterated that the right to live, work or invest in any part of the country is not a favour from politicians, but a Constitutional right.
