Muteti on Frontline in Spearheading Development
Kirinyaga County Speaker Muteti Murimi is the best speaker Countrywide. This is evident through his selflessness, hardwork, intelligence and wisdom.

“In a deliberate move to steer the County Forward, I last week together with colleagues from the County Assembly, accompanied H.E. Governor Anne Waiguru to the launch of various development projects.
On Wednesday, We commenced with flagging-off the Community Health Promoters (CHPs) who are undoubtedly at the epicenter of propelling realization of the Promotive and Preventive Health Care Agenda. Later during the day, we distributed pipes to Mbeti B and Kangima water projects in Inoi ward that will enhance water supply for the people of Inoi.
On Thursday, We issued cheques worth Kes.43 million to 204 Wezesha Groups which will go towards supporting households in improving agricultural productivity. Further, we launched 20 ward-based multi value chain farmers Sacco’s which will be instrumental in providing members with operational capital alongside promoting entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.
Additionally, We issued an assortment of tents and chairs in Njukiini Ward as part of efforts to improve the social welfare and income avenues for groups in the County. Suffice to say that the County is in the process of establishing a County Empowerment Development Fund to enhance similar economic initiatives.
On Saturday, together with other County Leaders, I joined H.E. The President William Samoei Ruto in launching the construction of the Sagana – Kathaka- Thiguku road which is part of the 300 kilometers road network earmarked for tarmacking in the County.
As the County Journeys on the path to development, we assure the people of Kirinyaga that service delivery and accountability will be paramount. We are optimistic that these projects will have a positive impact on residents in the days to come.”
