NEW MATERNITY WING TO EXPAND QUALITY CARE FOR MOTHERS IN KIBWARENG
Governor Stephen Sang has officially opened a new maternity wing at Kibwareng Health Centre in Kobujoi Ward, Aldai Sub County.
Speaking at the facility, the Governor said that Kibwareng Health Centre, is one of the facilities that serves a large population in the area and with the opening of the new maternity wing, it will ease pressure and serve more women effectively.
“As an administration we have strengthened the capacity of our health facilities to ensure that women have access to quality maternal healthcare services,” he said.
The new facility will help reduce infant and maternal mortality rates and also offer affordable maternity services.
The maternity wing means safer childbirth, more space, and improved working conditions for medical staff.
Present at the event was the CECM for Health and Sanitation Ruth Koech.
