ODM Turbo Parliamentary Aspirant Samkiz Calls on Aspirants to Maintain Peace
Turbo Parliamentary aspirant on an ODM party ticket Samson Wanjama alias Samkiz has called on aspirants to maintain peace during and after the August polls.
Speaking during his campaign trail in Turbo Constituency Samkiz said this will ensure that the Country has peaceful elections ahead of the August polls.
“I am calling upon my fellow aspirants in various seats to maintain peace as they look for votes since dividing Kenyans based on their political or tribal affiliations might lead to war ahead of the August polls,” Samkiz said.
“We have been going around the county sensitizing residents on the importance of peace since elections are around the corner and people will be used to cause violence. We want them to understand that elections will come and go but your neighbor will be there even after elections,” he added.
“Let us seek for votes without name calling instead let’s sell our manifestos,” he added.
He said residents should elect leaders and political parties.
“This time around let us elect people based on their manifestos and not parties since after the August polls you will need a person to work for you and not a political party,” The Turbo Constituency Parliamentary aspirant on an ODM party ticket said.
He further called on residents to vote for the opposition leader Raila Amolo Odinga in the forthcoming August polls.
“I want to call upon residents to come in large numbers and vote for Raila Odinga since he is the only person best suited to transform this country and we will campaign for him to ensure he clinches the presidency.
Odinga will be facing the deputy president William Ruto who hails from the region.
