Cornelius Kurung Youth leader “As residents and workers of Moi University, we demand the immediate dismissal of the Vice Chancellor. His leadership has fostered a toxic environment of corruption, mismanagement, and strained relationships.”

“Which norms is Professor Kosgei using where the poor get dismissed without reasonable reasons and the rich get hired permanently?” wondered Kimutai.

Kimutai also asked for the National Police to help in removing patrol police and the chief security officer Obadiah Rotich.

“I ask that the national police, county commander to come and vacate patrol police who lives in the institution’s hostels and remove the chief security officer Obadiah Rotich who is believed to operate several bars inside the institution”, said Kimutai.

The community listed a number of demands including restoration of good corporate social responsibility with the community, stop abnormal transfers of workers, shades for both bodaboda riders and mama mboga, paying all casual workers, and reinstate the 48 who were wrongly dismissed and bringing back the miller machines
