PHOTOS: Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Lands In Turkana For This Mission
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has landed in Turkana County for a food distribution exerisee.
Governor Bii mobilized a team under the Save a Life Initiative, and through their Chairperson Mr. Willy Kenei that led to the consignment of food donations worth 10 million shillings.
“Ejokaa! I am currently in Turkana County, the cradle of mankind for the food distribution exercise to our brothers and sisters. The County is currently facing unprecedented drought and hunger situation and Uasin Gishu being the food basket, we are here to Save a Life through distribution of the donations we received from our well wishers led by our farmers,” said the Uasin Gishu Governor.
The donations include Maize, maize flour, beans, rice, cooking oil, Sugar, food supplements, and assorted clothes was realized.
